BEYOND
THE CODE
I've been building web products for about 6 years now, and the thing that keeps me going is performance not in a buzzword way, but genuinely caring about why a page loads slowly, what's hurting the LCP, and how to make something feel fast for someone on a low-end device with patchy internet. That's the kind of problem I can go deep on for hours.
Most of my work has been in fintech and SaaS. I built a Rent Now, Pay Later feature at Spleet Africa that helped 70% of users secure housing loans. At Bento Africa, I led the team that built a payroll product that Kuda and Sterling eventually adopted internally. At Hoski, I work across the full stack of different products, building REST APIs, designing auth systems with role-based access control, and working with Node.js and PostgreSQL on the backend, while also owning the frontend.
I'm drawn to products that solve real problems for real people, and I do my best work when I'm on a team that cares about both the technical quality and the human impact of what they're shipping. I'm also deeply passionate about women and kids in STEM, believing that technology should be an inclusive space for all.
I call myself an Eudaimonist which is someone who believes in the pursuit of human flourishing. This philosophy extends to my personal life where I find joy in simple things like taking long walks, going to the gym, gisting with friends, listening to music, and occasionally losing track of time watching videos on TikTok.
